Strawberries in Japan are very expensive. They’re typically about $1 more or less per strawberry, sold in 8′s or 10′s. We saw some mochi dessert strawberries (strawberries surrounded by sweet red bean paste and a mochi coating). The the fully covered ones look like pink nipples.
