Mike and Crystal in Town
Mike and Crystal visited Tokyo on their way to China. They came in on the weekend and also hit Kyoto for a day trip. We were a bit busy that weekend too, so we just met up for dinner for a couple of nights.
The first night, we took them for food tour, and hit up 3 places. A 50 yen, yakitori (grilled chiken) izakaya (japanese tapas), Kushi-ya (skewers place) for some awesome grilled Japanese beef skewers, and a okonomiyaki place. These pictures are from the second night. We hit up Ushi Tora in Shimo-kitazawa for some Japanese micro brews and simple japanese style bar food.
This last item was miso pizza, an Ushi Tora specialty.
