We were talking with our Japanese teacher at our last lesson about the variety of flavors KitKat sells in Japan versus the US. She told us KitKat are very popular partially because “kito katsu” means “definitely succeed” or something along those lines. She said often during exam times, students are given KitKat before their tests by parents and friends and grocery stores are full of them.

Diana came across an opportunity to work in Japan for 2 years in a secondment.
