Henry’s Birthday Dinner at Abe
I tried my best to surprise Henry by scheduling a one star Michelin dinner at a homestyle Japanese restaurant. I invited friends who happened to live nearby. They met us at the restaurant and we were showed to our private room. Abe restaurant isn’t open on the weekends or holidays. Weird right? We chose the 7 course menu and it was quite a deal as we all left the restaurant very satisfied. The guys tried a couple of different sakes and we started with a veggie filled croquette, sashimi, personal nabe pot, inside out steamed flounder roll with broth, salt grilled prawn, rice soup and desert of fresh fruit, chocolate and custard filled pastry.

The restaurant was really just a door in the middle of a white wall of a building. The kind of place you would pass all the time ad not notice anything.

aww you are so sweet Diana, and I like the last pic! you guys are sooo cute!
