Unusual Work Party
Every year there is a work party where the newest members of the company are in charge of the entertainment. There is food, beer, speeches by the president and chairman and then – entertainment. Our department had a new member this year so he was part of this dancing troupe. Can you guess how many guys are in this picture?
This is definitely something uniquely Japan. I don’t think any US company would be able to get away with something like this. I was quite shocked and amused to see this kind of entertainment at work.
You’re new! How come you’re not part of the entertainment? =)
Only the incoming first year employees straight from college are required to provide entertainment…I’m new but I’m not a first year…thank goodness!
