Chicken Sukiyaki at Botan
A friend invited us to a chicken sukiyaki restaurant at a very old traditional Japanese restaurant near Akihabara that used real charcoal to cook the chicken. It was quite an interesting dinner on small tables in a tatami room served by kimono-clad waitresses. It was quite yummy.

This was the front of the restaurant where we took off our shoes before we entered.

Afterwards, we walked around the neighborhood and discovered even more traditional old restaurants. One specializing in monkfish nabe. Check out the ugly fish.
