Autumn in Kyoto
Traveling to see nature in Japan (“nature tourism”?) is a very popular thing. Just as we saw the cherry blossoms (花見) in spring (春), we headed to Kyoto again to see the autumn leaves (紅葉, lit. translated as red leaves) in fall (秋).
Here’s a few of our favorite shots (out of 1500).
–
Mt. Fuji from the shinkansen

–
3 colors

–

–
Leaves are boring

–
Sunset Orange

–
高台寺 (Kodaiji) night view

–
The obligatory upwards view. This was a “light uppu” evening shot.
