Kobe Teppanyaki
The best way to eat Kobe beef is teppanyaki style. Hands down. These are the words of my fellow co-workers who’ve had had it teppan-style over 3 times, and myself, the second time. It is a beautiful seared start and a finish so rich, that it tastes like melty goodness in your mouth. Our other steak of the evening was a Chateaubriand. It’s as more beefy and was extremely tender. I have to say that it’s worth trying both at the same time to see the difference.
We pulled out the wallet and splurged for the dinner course. It came with tiny appetizer, appetizer, a grilled starter, our steak of choice, garlic fried rice, and desert. This was all on the top of the 52nd floor of the Sumitomo building at Seryna in Shinjuku.

Scallops had to be ordered!

I had the foie gras

Left is Kobe, Right is Chateaubriand

The fat was cooked up for a while and served as cracklin’s later. It was fantastic too.

Dang it Henry! I’m gonna come visit you just to eat some kobe teppan style!
I’ll second that conclusion! No better way to enjoy the taste of premium beef like Kobe beef! But I have to admit, the fat kind of got to me a bit, almost like eating butter, seems almost too rich! =)
