We took one of Henry's co-workers to the Kawagoe Matsuri recently.  Our main purpose in going was to chow down on the yatai or festival food!  We remembered from last year that they had many yatai stalls and we had some really good food there.  Since we went on a Saturday instead of Sunday, it was more crowded but we did get to see and eat some delicious food.  Besides the regular festival food we found some new and interesting offerings as well.

Ramen burgers!

Bacon-wrapped onigiri!

And a picture of the dashi (or festival "floats") to prove we really did go to the matsuri to see culture.
